    • Christaline Loos: Hello! My name is Christaline Loos, and I'm Pastor Bart's wife. I'm thrilled to be teaching the 1st - 3rd graders at Shining Stars this year. I'm currently a mom to three daughters and a Brownies Girl Scout troop leader. I come from a Cuban-American background and studied anthropology at UCLA. In my free time, I love hiking and gardening, but what truly brings me joy is the blunt conversations and natural curiosity of elementary school children—their conversations are a delight and what I look forward to most during our gatherings! My motivation for being part of Shining Stars is to help shape children's first impressions of a relationship with Jesus and the Christian community into something positive and comforting. I really emphasize that life is an adventure full of ups and downs, and I want kids to understand that no matter how high or low life takes them, Jesus is the comforting constant who is always there.
