Administrative Leadership

Ms. April Lang (Ms. April) started as a substitute teacher at Circle of Love in 2014 and became a full-time staff member in 2017. She graduated from Sonoma State University in 2012 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Anthropology. She earned a Single Subject Credential (Social Sciences) in 2013, also from SSU. Her early childhood education units have been completed through El Camino and Saddleback colleges. You will see Ms. April in the office, substitute teaching, volunteering in the kitchen at Shining Stars Youth Group, playing in the FLC handbell choir, maintaining the school's website and social media pages, etc. Passionate about preschool accreditation, she has also served on two National Lutheran School Accreditation Validation Teams. Ms. April grew up in Manhattan Beach and she has been a member here at First Lutheran Church with her family since 1992.
